Robert has over 25 years experience as a tax advisor. He is currently Head of Tax at Viva Energy, a role he has held for the past 7 years. During this time, Viva Energy has undertaken two major IPO’s of its business operations. This has required Robert to advise extensively in matters relating to restructures and acquisitions and to engage proactively with the ATO in relation to their consequences. During this time, Robert has also been involved in tax policy development in his role on the Executive Committee for the Corporate Tax Association between 2017 and 2021 and as Head of Tax at Viva Energy. Robert’s previous experience included time at a multinational oil company, along with a large national law firm and chartered accounting firm.
